I am the computer aide at an elementary school. We have a computer lab with 30 student computers, and most of the teachers have a few computers in their classrooms. We run Windows XP Pro. Currently, we are using software called Success Maker Enterprise for the kids. I’ll say it plainly: I hate it. It sucks. The kids are getting bored with it, and it’s a heartache trying to get any kind of useful reports or data from it. Not to mention it is constantly freezing up at one point or another.
I really want to get the kids onto something better. I want something that is fun for them but at the same time convenient for the teachers and I to manage the classes and see their progress. It’s Kindergarten through fourth grade, so it needs to be simple for them to log into, such as simply entering their student ID number, which they are already accustomed to doing.
We mostly focus on Math and Reading for the computer software, so if that’s all it has, that’s perfectly fine.
Well, I gotta go! Class is here! I hope you can point me in the right direction!

You have to do programming for that
in any language like C,C++, JAVA

Math Munchers,Power Active Math, Reader Rabbit 2, Blaster 3Rs, James Discover Math etc,

I would specifically be looking for a Masters program or other graduate program since I have a BA in graphic design. Also, I already have experience in Photoshop and Illustrator, but need more web experience using Dreamweaver and Flash, etc.

How to develop an Educational Software in C#.NET? What is a starting point? How I will present windows forms? How I will document this software? How to hide a form and display another one and also go back to the 1st form? The software is required to asses a student by allowing a student to choose answers and and the software must display if the student can continue or not. If Answer is correct a student can continue to the next question, else it will give the student the correct answer by displaying.

It depends on the company. Some require at least a 2 year degree, such as many government entities. Many do not.
I dropped out of college to pursue a CNE certification and work full time, then eventually moved into software engineering.
If you can’t afford the schooling costs, I’d recommend classes in OOP and database structures to get started. There is a definitive lack of programmers right now, so that is working in your favor.

I want a job in one of the software giants of silicon valley : Google, Microsoft or Apple. I want a high and respectable white collar job at that. Is the ultimate MS degree sufficient? Also list all the conditions I must follow here forth. Make your answer as detailed and easily understandable as possible.
Thank you in advance!
