However, I would suggest that if your programmers are good at what they do, they should be able to set up an online store, and you could handle marketing through a grass-roots method. Go out and promote your products in local schools, and they will tell their colleagues at conventions (which you want to setup a booth at) to look into your products.
you may also want to contact schol systems and offer them free trials of your products, so they can determine if they want their students to use your products.
